The incumbent will be independently responsible to manage all the systems and networks.
Manage servers, including database, MS Exchange email servers, printers and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration, network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
Responsible to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house computers, servers, voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
Will be responsible for design and deployment of company VOIP, LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPS's, and other hardware.
Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation; Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas; Collaborate with executive management to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Incorporate Microsoft best practices.
Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
Conduct research on new hardware and software, network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of technological developments.
Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure systems, network products and services.
Manage an Online Repository on NAS system.
Periodically update corporate website.
At least 4 to 5 years of prior experience in both System administration and Network administration for small to mid sized companies.
Good communication, leadership and managerial skills in addition to technical skills.
Good knowledge in latest technology trends and use of right tools to improve efficiency of our operations.
Should have prior experience in maintaining VOIP phones.
Prior experience in setting up or managing offshore development centers or back office centers / BPO centers will be a definite plus.
Knowledge of Mail Server, C-panel, Web server, Web Hosting Knowledge, Windows/Linux server installation/ management, IIS, DNS, http, TCP/IP Protocol Suite, POP, SMTP, IMAP, etc.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of nodes, peripherals, routers, switches, Giga LAN.
MCSE/CCNA/CCNP Certification will be preferred.
