Assistant Manager: Finance and Risk Analysis. Consolidate Total Expenses for all cost centers on a daily basis.
Collaborate with peers in Accounting and Finance to perform ad-hoc analysis to explain variances versus Budget, prior Forecast and prior months.
Forecast and prepare monthly Executive presentation that highlights the key drivers of Expense variances vs. the Budget, prior Forecast and prior months.
Work with the Department Heads to prepare their detailed quarterly and annual Budget and identify and implement areas of cost cutting.
Provide Department Heads with their monthly Expense performance vs. Budget so that they are kept aware of how their department is performing compared to the Budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact and perform timely research to answer questions from Department Heads.
Become the resident expert on Expenses within Finance.
Continue to look for ways to improve the accuracy of the current Forecasting process.
Continue to look for ways to automate the current Forecasting process.
Day-to-day management of select portions of the CDO portfolios.
Performing cash flow models to analyze and track structures.
Monitor market trends as it relates to issuers, servicers, trustees and other counterparties.
Providing analytical support to the underwriting group in analyzing performance trends and performing issuer and servicer due diligences.
Presenting finding to appropriate CDO new business and risk management committees.
Participating in credit remediation workouts.
Evaluate Risk in all processes and solutions to mitigate it.
Drive company and processes to achieve international quality standards. Pre-requisites:
Very proficient in MS Office.

Ability to review and analyze financial and numeric data.
Well developed report writing and presentation capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Six Sigma Black Belt would be preferred.
Minimum of 4 years experience in Finance sector.
